Royal Brunei Police Force officers have apprehended two local women in connection with suspected involvement in immoral activities, following coordinated operations conducted on Sunday (June 14) across the Brunei-Muara District.

The first suspect, a 39-year-old woman, was taken into custody at a rented room located in Kampong Salambigar. She is being investigated for suspected participation in vice-related activities.

A second operation in Kampong Lumapas led to the detention of a 29-year-old woman on suspicion of abetting and engaging in similar offences. Officers from the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department conducted both raids.

Both detainees and materials confiscated during the operations have been transferred to the unit's office for detailed questioning and further inquiry.

The RBPF emphasised its determination to suppress vice-related offences and moral breaches as part of broader efforts to maintain public order and strengthen community safety. The force has encouraged members of the public to report suspected unlawful activities through the police hotline 993.
