Argentine Navy Commander Convicted Over 2017 Submarine Disaster That Killed 44
An Argentine federal court has convicted the former head of the country's submarine fleet over the 2017 sinking of ARA San Juan, which claimed 44 lives. Claudio Javier Villamide received a three-year suspended sentence for dereliction of duty.
