Japan Executes Death Row Inmate Under New PM Takaichi
Japan has executed a death row inmate for the first time under Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's administration. Sunao Takami, 58, was hanged for a 2009 arson attack on an Osaka pachinko parlour that killed five people.
