Penang Ends Leniency: Litterbugs Face Court, Fines and Community Service from July
Penang has ended its six-month grace period for littering offences, moving to full enforcement from July 1. Violators now face prosecution, fines up to RM2,000, community service, or both—with no warnings issued.
