Community Spirit Saves Stilt Village as Fire Destroys 28 Homes in Sandakan
Quick-thinking residents of Kampung Nunuyan Laut in Sandakan used water pumps to contain a devastating fire, preventing the blaze from destroying most of their 162 stilt houses. Despite saving the majority, 28 homes were lost.
