Thailand enforces alcohol ban during Bangkok and Pattaya local elections
Thailand's Election Commission has imposed a strict nationwide alcohol ban in Bangkok and Pattaya during June 27-28 local elections, prohibiting sales and service with penalties reaching six months' imprisonment.
