Pakistan Deports 2.59 Million Afghans as Immigration Crackdown Accelerates
Pakistan has expelled 2.59 million undocumented Afghan nationals since 2023 as the government tightens immigration controls. Punjab alone has processed and deported 138,342 Afghans through its network of holding centres.
