Malaysia and Thailand Accelerate Border Cooperation, Eye US$30 Billion Trade Goal by 2027
Malaysia and Thailand have committed to expediting border infrastructure projects and establishing special economic zones to boost bilateral trade to US$30 billion by 2027, with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his Thai counterpart Anutin Charnvirakul agreeing on streamlined customs procedures.
