WHO Declares End to Hantavirus Outbreak from Antarctic Cruise Ship
The World Health Organization has officially declared the hantavirus outbreak from the Antarctic cruise ship MV Hondius at an end, after the last quarantined passenger completed isolation and tested negative on July 2, 2026.
