Nepal Appeals for International Aid After Glacier-Triggered Disaster Kills Over 600
Nepal is seeking international technical support and US$4-5 billion in reconstruction aid following a catastrophic flood triggered by glacier collapse near the Tibetan border. The disaster has killed at least 626 people and left nearly 3,000 missing.
