South Korea Formally Revokes Top Science Award from Disgraced Stem Cell Researcher Hwang Woo-suk
South Korea has formally revoked its highest science and technology award from disgraced stem cell researcher Hwang Woo-suk, 22 years after he received the presidential honour in 2004. The revocation came after a court invalidated a previous 2020 decision due to procedural errors.
