Government and Police Ordered to Compensate Activists RM195,000 for Unlawful Detention During Covid-19 Vigil
A court has ruled that the government and police must pay RM195,000 to 13 activists who were unlawfully arrested during a candlelight vigil honouring Covid-19 victims at Dataran Merdeka in August 2021.
